Who we are
Stagekit is made by Multi stage, Beverwijk, the Netherlands. Questions about your data? Email us.
What we store
When you sign up a band: the band name, your own name, your email address, the number of members, the type of band, the town and, if you fill it in, the band’s website. To prevent abuse we briefly keep a fingerprint of your internet address that cannot be traced back to that address.
When you put your band on the list, while sign-ups are not open yet: your name, your email address, your band’s name and the address you want for the band. With that we hold the address for you and email you as soon as you can sign up your band.
When you are a member of a band: your name, your email address, your role and your instrument. What you fill in yourself, such as a phone number, a photo, your town, when you can’t make it, your notes on songs and rehearsal recordings. And what the band fills in: the calendar, the setlists, the songs.
To make the app work: that you are logged in and, if you want notifications on your phone, the address at which your phone receives them.
To find errors: if the app crashes or something goes wrong, we get an error report with what went wrong, which screen was open, the type of device and the app version. With a number that belongs to your account, not your name or email address.
To improve the app: which screens you open and a few actions, such as opening a song or starting LIVE. With the same number, without names, email addresses or texts. You turn this off with Share usage: in the app under Me, in the browser under Settings.
We don’t use cookies for advertising or to track what you do. On this website we don’t track visitors.
What for
- To make your band and your account work, and to email you the code you log in with.
- To review a sign-up and let you know whether your band is ready.
- To send you a notification when something changes about a gig or rehearsal, if you said yes to that.
- To prevent abuse.
- To fix errors and see what the band really uses, so we can make the app better.
We don’t sell anything on and don’t use your data for advertising. We do this because it is necessary to provide Stagekit to you, and to prevent abuse.
Who else has access
We work with a few regular providers that keep Stagekit running for us. They may only use your data to do that work for us.
- Storage and login: with a provider within the European Union.
- The website, recordings and email: with a provider within the European Union.
- Error reports and usage: with two providers, with storage within the European Union.
- Notifications on your phone: go through the notification service of your phone or browser. That service only sees the text of the notification.
- Reading sheets: when an admin has a song sheet read in, only the text of that sheet goes to a text recognition service outside the European Union, with the agreements the law requires. No names or email addresses are included.
- YouTube and Spotify: only when you open the player on a song yourself. Their own rules then apply.
Which providers exactly, we’ll tell you if you email us.
How long
- A place on the list you don’t confirm: two days.
- A confirmed place on the list: until 30 days after the email that sign-ups are open. If you sign up your band, it continues as a sign-up.
- A sign-up you don’t confirm with the code: one day.
- A rejected sign-up: 30 days.
- Rehearsal recordings: 90 days, unless you delete them earlier yourself.
- Error reports: at most 90 days. App usage: at most one year.
- Your account and the band’s data: as long as the band uses Stagekit. If the band stops, we delete everything. If the admin removes you from the band, you can no longer log in; if you also want your data gone, email us. You can also delete your account yourself under Me.
What you can do
You may always ask what we have about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object. Email us; you get an answer within a month. If you disagree with us, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
If this changes
If we change this text substantially, we email the band admins.
