LIVE without internet

Many venues have no internet. LIVE works anyway. In the app, the devices follow the band leader over the wifi on stage, for example the router in the rack.

How to do it

  1. Put all devices on the same wifi as the band leader

  2. Open LIVE as usual

    See Join in with LIVE.

  3. That's all

    The devices find each other by themselves.

Good to know

  • This works in the Stagekit app on phone and tablet. In the browser, without internet, you turn the pages of the setlist yourself.
  • On an iPhone, the app asks the first time whether it may use the local network. Tap Allow. If you say no, LIVE only works over the internet.
  • If there is no connection at all, the gig shows Open gig, from half an hour before the first set. You then turn the pages yourself. When the connection comes back, you follow the band again.
  • What the band leader changes without internet goes to the others later by itself.
