Connect Google Calendar

Stagekit can read the band's Google Calendar. Gigs and rehearsals then appear in the app by themselves. Stagekit changes nothing in Google Calendar. The admin does this, on a computer.

How to do it

  1. Open Google Calendar on the computer, logged in to the band's account

  2. On the left, under My calendars, go to the band's calendar, click the three dots and choose Settings and sharing

  3. Go to the part for integrating the calendar and copy the Secret address in iCal format

  4. Open Stagekit in the browser and go to Manage and then Agenda

  5. Paste the address under Secret address

  6. Click Connect

After that

  • Stagekit reads the calendar again by itself. Update now fetches what is new straight away.
  • Read everything again also reads what was already there once more.
  • Under Instructions for the AI you write in plain words how the band fills in the calendar. For example: "Sound: Henk" is about the sound engineer.
  • Disconnect stops the reading. What is already there stays.

Good to know

  • Anyone with the secret address can read the calendar. Share it with no one.
  • After connecting, you change name, date, time and location in Google Calendar, not in Stagekit.

Block someone else

Under Manage, Agenda there is also Block someone. With it you add a day in the agenda on which another member can't make it.
