Record a rehearsal
During rehearsal you record a song with your phone or tablet. At first only you hear the recording. You choose whether the band hears it too.
How to do it
Open the rehearsal in the Agenda
Under What we're practising, tap the microphone next to the song
A bar with the title and the time appears at the bottom
Tap Stop when the song is done.
The recording now sits under the title, with its length
The padlock means only you hear it.
In the song itself too: if you open a song from the rehearsal, Record is at the bottom.
Play a recording
Tap the recording. The player opens at the bottom. It also has:
- Share with the band, so the band hears it too. Stop sharing takes that back.
- Save, to keep it on your own device.
- The bin. Then choose Never mind or Delete for good.
Good to know
- One recording at a time. If you record another song, Stagekit stops and keeps the previous one.
- A recording is kept for a while and then disappears. An orange edge means it disappears within a week. Want to keep it? Tap Save.
- Playing back recordings by others only works with internet.
