Start the gig

LIVE is the mode for during the gig. The band leader starts it, and the whole band follows along. When the band leader goes to the next song, everyone goes along, each with their own sheet.

How to do it

  1. On the day of the gig, open the Agenda

    Today's card is under Upcoming.

  2. Tap Start on the card

    Or open the gig and tap Start gig at the bottom.

  3. You see Tonight's setlist

    Tap the first song.

  4. Tap Next when the song is finished

    The band goes along with you.

  5. After the last song you see All played

    Tap Gig finished.

Before you start

As soon as Start is on screen, Stagekit checks whether everything is ready. If something is off, it shows in an orange line above the button. For example a low battery, or songs that are not on your device yet. Then tap Fetch. You can always start, with one tap.

During the gig

  • The arrow at the top left takes you out of LIVE. LIVE just keeps going. Back to LIVE brings you back.
  • At the top right are the three dots of the LIVE menu. Gig finished is there too.
  • Auto-scroll for the band in the LIVE menu makes the sheet move along for the whole band.
  • The screen stays on while LIVE is running.

Frequently asked questions

I don't see Start

That only works on the day itself, and once the setlist has been sent to the band. It is only for the band leader and for whoever may change the setlist live.

I tapped Gig finished by mistake

The gig then shows Finished by mistake? with Back to LIVE. That works until six the next morning. After that LIVE stops by itself.
